Johnny Depp, Alice Cooper e Joe Perry anunciam álbum de estreia do Hollywood Vampires

Novos detalhes sobre o álbum do Hollywood Vampires, o supergrupo formado pelo ator/músico Johnny Depp, Alice Cooper e Joe Perry (Aerosmith), fora divulgados. Previsto para 11 de setembro, o registro conta com as participações de Paul McCartney, Dave Grohl, Slash, Joe Walsh, Brian Johnson (AC/DC), Perry Farrell (Jane’s Addiction), Zak Starkey, Robby Krieger (The Doors), entre outros.

A maior parte das 14 faixas são covers, tal como o mashup de “School’s Out”, de Alice Cooper, com “Another Brick in the Wall Pt.2″, do Pink Floyd. Mas virão novidades como “Raise the Dead” e “Dead Drunk Friends”, co-escritas por Depp e Cooper ao lado do produtor Bob Ezrin. “The Last Vampire”, por sua vez, apresenta narração do ator Christopher Lee, estrela de vários filmes de terror e também de “Star Wars Episode II and III”.

O trio começou a trabalhar no disco em 2012 e o concluiu apenas no ano passado.
